There comes a time when a person realizes that its tie to stand up, to resist when injustice, wrong, or abuse is taking place. Unfortunately, in the American justice system, there is so much injustice, wrong, and abuse that takes place – the idea of standing up seems overwhelming.
Our clients need advocate – in the broadest sense of the word. DAS exists because standing up for freedom matters. Fighting, responsibly, ethically, and passionately can makes a difference. Advocating for those who need help – is a core belief and value of our team. There are those who cry for liberty, and those who can help accomplish it.
“[T]hey cried with one voice unto the Lord their God, for their liberty and their freedom from bondage. And they began to stand…with power and in that selfsame hour that they cried unto the Lord for their freedom” they obtained relief.
Alma 43:49-50
We can’t do this alone. We need citizen volunteers to help us. We also need attorneys who can support the cause – to come on board!
